Early Life: Kathryn Imrie was born on June 8, 1967, in Dundee, Scotland
Amateur Success: She won multiple amateur titles, including the Scottish Schools' Champion in 1981 and 1985, and the Scottish Junior Open Strokeplay Champion from 1985 to 1987
College Golf: Imrie attended the University of Arizona, earning All-American honors in 1989
Turning Professional: She turned professional in 1991 after playing for the Great Britain & Ireland Curtis Cup team in 1990
European Tour and LPGA: Imrie competed on the Ladies European Tour from 1991 to 2008 and won the 1995 Jamie Farr Toledo Classic on the LPGA Tour
Solheim Cup: She represented Europe in the 1996 Solheim Cup and served as vice-captain for the 2019 and 2021 teams
LPGA Record: Imrie set an LPGA record by making 11 birdies in one round during the 1997 State Farm Charity Classic
Coaching Career: After retiring in 2009, she taught at the Jim McLean Teaching Academy before moving to Stanford University as a volunteer assistant coach
